When we think of upgrading our homes, bathrooms are often one of the best ways to improve home value. Wood framed mirrors are a quick and EASY way to do this!
Unlike installing a new shower, upgrading the flooring, or installing new tile in the shower area, installing a MirrorChic wood frame to your existing mirror will take you just a few hours. This almost instant upgrade to your bathroom will change the look and feel of the entire room.
The best part; it’s not difficult at all!
How to Upgrade to Wood Framed Mirrors
Most people assume they need to replace an entire mirror to add a wood frame to their bathroom look, and for years that was true. MirrorChic was founded to solve this problem.
We make frames that stick onto your existing mirror with a detailed installation guide that allows you to hang the frame without taking down your mirror at all! This reduces the risk of breaking your mirror in the process of installation and adding extra costs to your project.
Measure Your Mirror
To start, you’ll want to get accurate measurements of your existing mirror. Measure the width first, then the height. Common pieces like clips and the metal frame between the mirror and vanity or tilework should be included as well.
While this step will only take a few minutes, double check your measurements! If you have any questions as to what should be included, please give us a call so we can help!
Select Your Frame!
For many people, this part takes the longest! We have about 50 frame choices in stock at any time and choosing can often take longer than measuring or installation! You can browse our shop section and select the frame that you like and that will fit your bathroom style the best.
We have everything organized by color, style and size to make your shopping experience as easy as possible.
Make sure you have your measurement information handy when you select your frame. During the ordering process you’ll be asked for all of your measurements!
Install Your Frame
Our DIY mirror frame installation and assembly process is designed to be as easy as humanly possible.
We ship installation parts and tools with each order. You shouldn’t need to run to your local hardware store or anything to achieve the wood framed mirror look you want!
Before you start the installation process we recommend you watch the video on our homepage or our assembly and installation page so you know what you’re doing before you start!
This process normally takes less than an hour, but you may want a 2nd person with you to help hang the frame straight. An extra pair of hands is always nice, anyway!
Now that you know how easy it is to add a wood framed mirror look to your bathroom, what are you waiting for? Head to our shop page and take the first step to upgrading your boring bathroom!
